Sadr is reportedly in Iran. Iranian sources claim that the Iraqi delegation that came to Iran before the uprising was supposed to return soon, but did not return and stayed in Iran for various reasons. At the moment, no one wants to take risks.

Clashes between Sadrists Nationalist Militias and Pro-Iran Militias are still continuing in Baghdad’s Central green zone with choppers flying over. Air Raid sirens are being reported inside the US Embassy in Baghdad plus also the Embassy of the State of Kuwait has urged its citizens to leave Iraq immediately.
