After Ugandan Popular artist known as Sheebah Kalungi reported a sexual assault that was allegedly done to her before a performance, and the fact that she branded the ‘anonymous’ man who allegedly assaulted her a “VIP”, many people pointed fingers at a TV personality Andrew Mwenda because among other things, she mentioned that that man is always pretending to be good on TV but only on 17th May 2022 the Ugandan Police to confirm that the allegations are totally untrue.
As Uganda Police informs, in the formal complaint she made today on 17th May 2022 held at the CID headquarters, it is said that Sheebah revealed information relating her alleged sexual harassment.

“During the interaction with the CID officers, Sheeba revealed the details and the individual who was involved and the related circumstances.
In her complaint she clearly mentions the suspect and refutes the ongoing speculation in sections of the media that it was Andrew Mwenda.” Uganda Police states.
While a team of Detectives has commenced investigations on the matter to ensure justice for the Sheebah, they do thank her for having the courage to report the matter.
As the ball was bouncing on both Andrew Mwenda and Uganda’s former Vice President Girbelt Bukenya, it is now official that the ball is now only remaining on Girbelt Bukenya
