IPhone 6 Plus Review In 2021
The Iphone 6 Plus smartphone is one of those smartphones that many people still buy in 2021 and for me recently I bought this and it has been my day to day phone that I use.
This smartphone comes in different storage models which include 16GB,32GB and 128GB. Anyways me I do own the 16GB model and in today's article am going to share with you my review about the smartphone.
Display
Well this smartphone comes with a larger 5.5inch LCD display and it is one of those displays that look amazing, The screen is really bright that way you won’t have to worry about Glares on the screen though it isn’t that colourful. The touch is very responsive and I really liked it when playing Garena Free Fire on this larger display since I was able to see everything and the buttons very well.
Cons of the Display: I work in a phone repair shop but I can tell you this. Most customers bring this phone with an issue of Touch ice not working, Usually, this happens when maybe the phone drops or being exposed to water. In that way even if you try to replace the screen the touch won’t be working and repairing the touch Ice is pricey. So buying this smartphone you should know that and I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy this phone. what I advise you is not to buy it if you looking for a phone to last a year or years.
Memory.
This smartphone comes with 1GB of ram but You’ll likely experience this software issue only if you try to reset your iPhone to default settings or wiping the memory. After the phone is done wiping, it will stop freeze at the apple logo.
Software
This smartphone stopped getting software updates on iOS 12.5.5 and can’t be upgraded to the latest iOS 15.
That way you won’t be able to get things like dark mode though you can still get all the social media apps like WhatsApp, Quora, Linked In, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on this phone.

Battery
My battery health is at 97% and I’m able to get 8-9hrs of battery life from its 2915mAH while just being on social media and surfing around the web plus 3-4hrs of intense online gaming.
Camera
The camera for an old phone like this isn’t that impressive nor bad. It is just fine and below are some of the pictures taken from its main 8MP camera and 1.2MP camera.
