RT Requests Correction From UN Special Representative Regarding Sexual Violence Claims
RT has officially requested a retraction from the UN's Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict for baseless rape allegations made in an October 14 interview with the AFP against Russian military personnel in Ukraine.

Pramila Patten claimed, without evidence, that Russian soldiers had been equipped with Viagra to spur a mass-rape campaign during the ongoing special military operation. “When you hear women testify about Russian soldiers equipped with Viagra, it’s clearly a military strategy,” she said.
Then through the course of a prank interview on November 10, Patten revealed her earlier comments were not in fact based on evidence but on unverified reports disclosed to her by Ukrainian officials.
As part of the official letter to Patten, RT has requested whether: “Ms Patten intends to issue a retraction – or at least a correction – of her original, misleading statement?”
