Russia-Ukrainian war:Women are banned from leaving borders of their region

Ukrainian Member of Parliament Oleksandr Fediyenko published a copy of a letter from Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny, which partially confirms rumors about an upcoming ban on leaving the place of residence (changing address) without the permission of the military registration and enlistment offices.

According to the current legislation, this norm could have been applied from the moment martial law was introduced, that is, from February 24th. But until now the Ukrainian regime chose not to enforce it. 

Earlier, the Zaporozhye Regional Authorities published an official statement that, when leaving a district or region, one must first go to the military registration and enlistment office for permission.

“Women will also be banned from leaving the borders of their region without the permission of the military registration and enlistment office,”- People's Deputy of Ukraine Roksolana Pidlas.

“The decision that, without the permission of the military commissar, men, and soon women, cannot travel outside the city of residence is nonsense, which will entail a social explosion and the collapse of the economy. I personally do not see the need to obtain permission from someone to move within my country.” She added

According to Zelenskiy, Today there were a lot of disputes in society regarding the decision of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on obtaining certain permits for those liable for military service, conscripts and reservists.

Zelenskiy added that there was different assessments of such a decision and misunderstandings and even indignation as he instructed the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to report all the details to me tomorrow regarding the decision on the approval of the Procedure for obtaining permits. He asked later asked the General Staff not to make such decisions without him in the future.
