Goretti Kagasha a 29 years old cashier at Regal Paints (U) ltd is reported to have been attacked by 6 thugs who illegally entered her home armed with a gun and several machetes at Canan site, Estates 11, Namubiru ward, Mukono municipality on the 25thJune 2022 around 9:30 pm and make off with some valuable materials and leave two people injured.
The territorial police in KMP East and Mukono divisional police are investigating this case where Kahasha was headed outside to close her small gate which was still open where she got attacked by armed 6 thugs who were camping in her home and when she tried to make her way back inside her property, they chased her till they were inside.
The robbers managed to get away with UGX 100,000, a laptop, Flat TV, 5 smart phones, a motor vehicle spacio white in color with REG NO UAZ283X and injured Deborah Natumanya, 29 and Tukashaba Paul, 39 who were rushed to the hospital with heads, legs and arms injuries.

The Territorial Police in KMP East and Mukono Divisional Police, are investigating a home invasion attack and robbery, against Goretti Kahasha, a 29-year-old, female cashier at Regal Paints (U) Ltd, on the 25.06.2022, at around 9:30pm, at Canan Site, Estates 11, Namubiru Ward, Mukono Municipality. The victim came out of the house to lock the small gate, which was still open. She was unfortunately, attacked by a group of 6 thugs armed with one gun and several machetes, who had already camped in her home. They chased and grabbed her as she tried to run into the house. The thugs robbed cash Ugx 100,000/=, 5 smart mobile phones, laptop, flat Tv screen and a motor vehicle Spacio, while in colour, under registration number UAZ283X and immediately drove away from the scene. The other two injured victims were identified as Deborah Natumanya, a 29-year-old, female adult and Tukashaba Paul, a 39-year-old, staff of Uganda Railway. They were rushed to IMC hospital in Mukono with injuries to the head, hands and legs.” Said CP Enanga Fred.
Police urges the public to be extra careful with home invasions and always remain monitoring activities taking places outside their homes and making sure their doors and windows are effectively closed as early as possible and in case of anything, call the police immediately.
