Police is currently investigating matters concerning the Monday of 9th May 2022 incident where around Mukwano mall, Kyaggwe road a UPDF officer who was a part of people who were in a green vehicle registration number D02DF08P got out that car during a traffic jam and asked a nearby traffic police officer to clear and a way for them, and only to grab him by collar when the traffic police officer told him that they have to be patient due to stiff traffic jam.
As confirmed by kampala metropolitan deputy police spokesperson Luke Oweyisigyire, the UPDF later tried shooting the traffic police officer and the gun missed him and damaged another vehiche, A Toyota premio registration number UAR 308L.

“The Millitary Police officers were stuck in traffic jam and one of the crews got off the car and approached the traffic officer. He ordered the traffic officer to open the road for them but told them to be patient since there was alot of traffic Jam . To his surprise, he was just grabbed by the collar , a scuffle ensued and a bullet was discharged by the Military Police officer which damaged another car,” Owoyesigyire revealed.
He added that the military police commander has arrested all the police officers who were in that army vehicle he was in.
