Netflix Cuts Staff Following Historic Subs Decline

Streaming giant Netflix has laid off 2% of its employees, or about 150 workers, the company has announced.
"These changes are primarily driven by business needs rather than individual performance, which makes them especially tough, as none of us want to say goodbye to such great colleagues," a spokesperson told AFP.
The decision comes on the heels of the service losing subscribers for the first time in more than a decade.
