Long-served Iteso paramount chief who got enthroned in 2000 has taken his last breath today evening at Murago referral hospital where he had been hospitalized for close to two weeks battling corona virus after his condition deteriorating a covid 19 unit he has been put in first in Soroti.
The Iteso cultural union chairman, Paul Sande Omolot confirmed his death on Uganda radio network
“Emorimor papa Iteso has left us this evening. Other details about his death and burial shall be communicated in due course” he confirmed on phone.
Deputy Chairperson of National resistance Movement – NRM, Capt. Mike Mukula has also confirmed his death via a tweet today evening.
“It’s with deep sorrow that we communicate the demise of our cultural leader, PAPA EMORIMOR LO ITSEO who has just passed on in Mulago national referral hospital, further communication will be made later” He tweeted.
