UCC to Tax content creators-My letter to Ugandan Government

After failure to implement a tax law on musicians,So the Uganda Communication Commission(UCC) issued this public notice via their Twitter handle.Before I make a reaction on it first see the image below and read carefully.

They are doing this to keep Ugandans ignorant cause they will be in control of what you see and listen to and if you are still thinking this is joke remember what happened to UBC.

I remember growing up watching interesting things on UBC  from cartoons like Teletubbies to news.And now the whole TV station is full of Garbage to an extent the news shown on a National TV like UBC are all scripted to show only good news in Uganda.Infact I bet if you've ever saw a song or any news of Bobi Wine on that TV station for the last 2years reason being political.So they turned our state owned National TV station into theirs to an extent every time you switch to that TV you'll be seeing Uganda Ekkula(I don't know the program name but it's a wildlife documentary) intended to keep you dormant.

You'll never find anything informative or productive on UBC(National Tv) and if you wanna know how lazy UCC is.For Azam and Zukku owners I can remind you for the last couple of months back  the National TV(UBC) has been not for free and for DStv owners I don't know but for Azam and Zukku owners you can testify,I'm pretty sure It has came back free to air during the Campaigns and then you wonder where does the taxes we pay go.

UCC IS FULL OF THIEFS STEALING AND MILKING UGANDANS MONEY

I don't care if they come for me,I'm speaking the truth here for the Ugandans to know and I'll never sell my country for pennies.First before I go any further you should know that UCC failed to protect Ugandans from Theft of Telecom companies and with this I mean Airtel(Indian company),MTN(South African company) and Africel.

I know your wondering how do these companies steal your money but the answer is simple..Through Hiking prices of Data and Call costs so high, also if you never knew this Uganda has the most expensive Call and Data rates in EA and whats more funny is that all these companies steal our money taking the profits back to their homes.Infact URA can't even determine the profits made by these Telecom companies from Airtime to data sells.

Thanks to companies like Lyca mobile who have entered the business and have started to show Ugandans that things like Data costs and Call costs are not actually expensive and I wrote an article to help save more on data click here for more.

In conclusion that's what happens when you give wrong people offices like for this scenario,The minister of information and communications Technology being a police woman who has no CV of even studying a God damn Computer ask me how I know this!!,I'm from Mityana where she was born.

WE ARE IN 21st CENTURY WHILE OUR LEADERS STILL LEAVE IN THE 19th CENTURY.

It's so funny our leaders still think they are ruling illiterate people from the 20th century.Imagine bragging about launching yellow bicycle distribution to chairpersons with a movement saying @NRMONLINE  chairpersons,!!!...Come on some one should wake them up that where in the 21st Century so that they stop doing stuff as if we are in time of them being in bushes,Hmmm have they ever thought about things like giving away motorcycles to village Chairpersons cause I know they deserve them and I don't see how they made life easier for them unless they just made them look like villagers.

Anyway am sorry if In the wrong directions but I felt that would treason if I don't talk about the truth.Thats what they want you to control media all media and we have started to see other Communication networks loosing value especially the Television.All Tvs in Uganda Nbs,NTV,Bukedde etc are all heading in that direction and one person has control of them now.Many TV presenters have been fired for political reasons but you and I together we can save creativity in Uganda,Save content creation and most of all save us from these people who are milking us like their cows.
