China’s foreign ministry called on the US to stop its 'arrogant and bullying behaviour' after President Donald Trump's 104% duties on Chinese imports took effect. Speaking to reporters at a regular media briefing, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said the US continued to impose tariffs on China 'indiscriminately'. 'If the US really wants to solve the problem through dialogue and negotiation, it should adopt an attitude of equality, respect and mutual benefit,' Lin added.
