The US president, Donald Trump, told reporters he would speak with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, on Tuesday about ending the war in Ukraine . Speaking onboard Air Force One on a flight from Florida to Washington, Trump said: 'We want to see if we can bring that war to an end. Maybe we can, maybe we can’t, but I think we have a very good chance.'
