A banner of Russian president Vladimir Putin was lowered by political activists during a campaign speech by Reform UK leader Nigel Farage at an event in the Columbine Centre in Essex. Farage was speaking about what children are taught in history classes as a poster bearing the image of Putin with the caption 'I ♡ Nigel' suddenly appeared. The stunt was organised by the Led by Donkeys group.
