Tensions escalate as Serbian AF soldiers get deployed along the border with Kosovo in response to Kosovo’s Prime Minister launching an Ultimatum on Serbian Barricades

Units of the Serbian AF are deployed along the entire length of the administrative border with Kosovo in readiness to ensure the security of the Serbian population of the province.

According to unconfirmed reports, the Kosovo special forces are also ready for a military operation.

Serbian medias says Kosovo's PM launched an ultimatum on Serbians barricades and "decided to launch a war". 

President Vucic to address the nation at 7:30pm local time and according to Serbian broadcaster B92, they describe the situation in Kosovo and Metohija as "[at the] point of no return," and accuses Pristina authorities of "preparing complete chaos."

Serbia also announced to convene an emergency meeting of the National Security Council due to escalating situation in Kosovo.

The US and British embassies however announced that saw no signs of violation of the rights of the Serbs by Pristina and called on those standing on the barricades to dismantle them
