Right now Multiple law enforcement’s are at the scene where multiple people have been shot at a funeral being held at a church with at least 4-6 people Have been repeatedly shot.
In the block where this took place there is a senior high rise, a Rite Aid and several large homes (some of which are apartments). Down the street are several small businesses, including a barber shop and laundromat. That’s in addition to the church where the shooting happened.Advertisement
At the scene of a shooting in Brighton Heights on the North Side. People who live nearby mentioned that they heard what sounded like gunshots. Brighton Heights is mostly residential and the northern-most neighborhood in the City of Pittsburgh. It has ~7,000 residents and two public schools, John Morrow Elementary and 5-8. The shooting took place several streets from those schools, who were supposed to have a half day.
