Uganda is facing a lot of sunctions from The European Union including the recent one on Uganda’s Oil pipeline at Lake Albert.
President Museveni had promised Ugandans that by 2025 Uganda will have its oil coming from the East Africa Crude oil pipeline on lake Albert however in September 2022, a resolution by the European Union’s Parliament urging the international community " to exert maximum pressure on Ugandan and Tanzanian authorities, as well as the project promoters and stakeholders ," to stop oil activities around Lake Albert came to place.Uganda had estimated to have reserves of atleast 1.4 billion barrels.
