A news reporter traveled to Maasai land in Kenya to get their point of view about Transgender men and the impression didn't look good at all. Kenya is located in Africa and geographically located in East Africa, it is among the East African Community (EAC) which accommodates Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the newly selected Democratic Republic of Cong. Kenya Just concluded its election in a mature democratic manner that only two African countries have dared to walk that road namely Ghana and Zambia. Ruto was announced as the 5th Kenyan President.

The Maasai are a Nilotic ethnic Group occupying North-West Kenya, North of Lake Turkana in the lower Nile valley. They are best known internationally because they reside near many game parks of the African Great Lakes but most importantly their customs and dress code are distinctively unique.

The Maasai people have cultures and norms they believe in and follow. They worship Enkai or Engai who has dual nature. Engai Narok is (Black God) who is benevolent and Engai Na-nyokie (Red God) is vengeful. In Maasai they believe that every gender has its own duty, a man has his duty and a woman cannot perform men's duties at all.

This interview clearly shows that Maasai people have zero tolerance for transgender people. When the chief was asked whether a man can come out as Transgender, the chief quickly attacked and said NO. "If you want to become a lady but you are a man you have something wrong, something wrong in your family something wrong in you"
