Mourning Palestinians carrying the remains of Palestinian journalist Ghufran Warasneh were confronted by Israeli soldiers, in Hebron on Wednesday, resulting in scuffles during which the soldiers fired flashbangs and tear gas.
Warasneh was shot by Israeli soldiers on her first day at work as a journalist. Israeli media claimed she wielded a knife and attempted to attack officers without providing any evidence while eye witnesses at the scene claimed that she had stood at least two metres away from any soldier and was not wielding any weapon.
