Iranian state media released footage from the seizure of Greek oil tankers in the waters of the Persian Gulf by the Iranian Navy

This move came because of disputes between the two nations about the fate of an Iranian oil cargo on board which led to a Russian-flagged tanker to be seized and according Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC),they wrote a statement on their official website on Friday that they seized two Greek oil tankers in the Arabian Gulf “due to violations that were committed.” Howevertr  statement did not elaborate on what the “violations” were.
