why is Ethiopian prime minister vowing to head the front line of the Ethiopian civil war

The Ethiopian civil war which some know as the Ethiopian Vs trigrian liberation front is a war that was intensified last year due to some events with the tigrian leadership and the Ethiopian administration headed by prime minister Abiy Ahmed . Abiy Ahmed came into power in April 2018 and during the early days of his office he spearheaded the end of the conflict with Ethiopia and Eritrea which has existed since the 1950s, this won him the Nobel peace prize for his actions.

we gained power throw the  Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF)  which he dissolved in 2019 forming his own party the Prosperity party in a move to curb the tigrian influence in Ethiopian politics which sparked the ethnic unrest in Ethiopia. this continued with a series of events like the independent tigrian elections, the attack on a military outpost in Tigray, and the military operation to regain the Tigray region.

ever since the war started the  Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) forces have been gaining grounds with unification with rebel movements in Ethiopia and as we speak not it is said that the TPLF is just 250 miles from Addis Ababa the capital of Ethiopia and with this development, the prime minister Abiy Ahmed has now decided to go to the frontlines in hopes motivating the troops and reaffirming the nation of his capabilities..

 we should remember that the last African leader to go to the battle frontlines didn't come back alive as we remember the Chad president...
