The current trend online between "lovers "is
either a rarely crazy staged proposal, an introduction ceremony, or an
extravagant lavish wedding ceremony held on debts just to show off how rich
they are or piss off haters. Every person has their reasons and ways to make
their better half happy, but this proposal went south.
What people do is stage or organize proposals to their other person they are in a relationship with but, they forget to first find out how the other person feels about them. Anyhow, Kimberly Rwizi, a recent graduate from kuwadzana, turned down her boyfriend’s proposal and threw away his ring, claiming that he’s no longer her type after being together in a relationship for 4-5 years.
This occurred in Zimbabwe. The young man is seen on
his knees like a hopelessly lost man in a desert in front of his girlfriend as
passersby witness everything as it unfolded.
One Facebook user responded to the incident by writing, this
is western culture and it works for the vast majority of us. However, doing
things in our dhona culture might sometimes spare you a lot of problems and
disappointments
Another person responded, “Dear young man… the only time you must kneel is when praying… thank you.”
