Well known for
gracing your screens as an emcee. Mc Kats is a Ugandan media personality and a
father. His real name is Edwin Katamba
and rumor-making rounds on the Ugandan internet scene have it that he quit his NBS
a local television job for another lucrative one.
According to
the reports making rounds on Facebook microblogs, Mr. Kats has signed a new job
contract with the Uganda Aids Commission and other partner health organizations
to run a campaign to fight against AIDs as this will cause the “End AIDs by
2030” vision of the organization to come to pass through Kats haven't come out
to say anything yet.
Earlier this
week, Mc Kats made an appearance as a guest speaker in a campaign launched to
fight Tb in Mukono in Collins Hotel and he opened about how he was diagnosed
with AIDS and how felt that he was too cool to fall sick. In his speech, the
talented television show host encouraged people with Tuberculosis to
consistently take their medicines till they do are finished.
Kats, come
out to the entire world that he’s HIV positive in 2019. Many people were
shocked but he never minded because he was being true to himself. He has become
an inspiration to man people both young and old. He worked with NTV Uganda too
and his television journey has been successful.
