Most
times, hunger weakens ones sense of understanding to the level that you can’t
make a proper choice of the restaurant you would love to eat your food in. I
have been there before and I regret spending a lot of monies in restaurants
around Kampala that didn’t give me value for my money. It sucks so much.
Yesterday I and my friend Alvin went out looking for a PlayStation 4 at game
lugogo and the day was very long for us as we couldn’t afford it. The budget we
had was way too lower to what the actual PlayStation 4 would cost us and to
make things worse, I was very hungry.
Alvin suggested that we break off to his favorite restaurant copper chimney which is an Indian & Continental Cuisine situated barely 2KM from the City Centre and is accessible most conveniently from most parts of the city for lunch but I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure of how good their food and services are. I value my money a lot but, I gave him my leap of faith, I accepted.
Remember,
Copper Chimney is a stone’s throw from game lugogo. Once your reach this
restaurant, its entrance welcomes you with the beauty of nature. The beautiful
green flowers plus coco nut trees give you a royal welcome paying way for you
to grace their magnificent and a beautiful lounge with ample space to make
yourself cozy as you wish. Forget about spaces whose seats causes your back to
ache, with Copper Chimney’s, I sat and stretched in my comfortable seat and I
almost dozed off. Yes, that’s how comfortable their seats are.
Through their lounge to the other side of this mighty restaurant, you’re welcomed by this beautiful terrace that can accommodate about 65-80 guests giving you a chance to have a breathtaking Ariel view of the Cricket Oval which an is ideal venue to watch a game of cricket or simply enjoy the lush green surroundings in a very serene setting making you feel like royalty in fact, it’s like killing two birds with one stone. The icing on the cake is, this restaurant has a small GARDEN that can easily accommodate 30-35 people and is ideal for Corporate Functions, Cocktails, Birthday Parties and Get-togethers. They also have ample parking space for those who own cars.

Now, let’s talk about their food because
what took me to Copper Chimney restaurant was FOOD. So, to be honest, the Venue
comprises of THE RESTAURANT with a carefully crafted Indian & Continental
Menu. Coffee is served on the premises with an array of cocktails to choose
from and that was a plus for me. Remember, its value for my money first. Their
food menu has a variety of dishes to choose from in that you can easily run
short of choice as you see it below,
I had butter chicken with garlic naan
a very amazing mouthwatering meal and oh my goodness, that’s my favorite dish
at the moment. Before I add on anything their Veg Rasila Pulao was so delicious
than that I have had from other restaurants. I could choose fish fry, but am
allergic to fish. The waitresses and waiters are very smart and what stood out
most for me was how quick and friendly this particular lady who served us was.
I really don’t know what your favorite dish is and where you have been having
it from but, I 110% recommend copper Chimney because their services are everything.
